About Absent Friends
Sillón's third solo-release is by the American (of sorts), Wade Matthews. He lives in Madrid, Spain, and he is probably best known as an alto flute and bass clarinetist. After years of working with electronics in different contexts, he is now presenting his solo debut, using only software synthesis. And what a record this is! The choices of sounds and the slow/careful developments of each piece on Absent Friends is a great listening experience. Also check this out with your headphones. It's a delight, please enjoy!
